OLED Revenues Expected to Increase 13% in 2024 on Growth from Smartphones, TVs and IT Applications

As revealed in DSCC’s latest release of the OLED Shipment Report, OLED panel revenues increased 36% Y/Y in Q2’24. The improvement to panel revenues is the result of the 49% Y/Y unit increase as a result of improved consumer and commercial demand offset by seasonality for some applications. MiniLED Continues to Grow Steadily, Automotive and AI are Promising Highlights

DSCC’s Quarterly MiniLED Backlight Technologies, Cost and Shipment Report revealed that MiniLED has become an important role and a strategic resource in both the display and LED industries. MiniLED shipments were 4.8M units in Q2’24 and are expected decline slightly in Q3’24 due to weak demand from TV.
