ABSTRACT

We have successfully developed super lightweight polymer waveguides. It can display full color with 3.0g weight for monocular, 1.0mm thickness, FOV 30 degrees at maximum and MTF equivalent to glass waveguides. Our in-house built simulation tool can manage optimization of various DOE and layouts including resin and coating that is beyond capability market-available calculators. Lightweight and clear images will deliver more immersive experiences for users.
