Said Bakadir

Said Bakadir serves as Senior Director of Product Management at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. He is responsible for overseeing Qualcomm’s XR business including go-to-market, product positioning, OEM engagement, and product planning.

Said joined Qualcomm in 2005 as a Senior Engineer in Europe, in charge of supporting customers and operators to commercialize Qualcomm wireless technologies. He has held roles of increasing responsibility since then, ranging from engineering, product marketing, product management, and business development, leading several successful projects from idea inception to customer adoption and scale in the market. His expertise ranges from early GSM and UMTS feature phones and modem dongles to the latest advancements in smartphones, Robotics, Drones, and XR products.

Said received his master’s degree in telecommunications in 2002 from the National Institute of Post & Telecommunication in Morocco and National Institute of Telecommunication in France.
