Dr. Ran Ruby Yan

Ruby Yan is a seasoned Business Line Director at GlobalFoundries, where she oversees the HMI (Human-Machine-Interface) product line. With more than 12 years of experience in the company, she has held various roles and responsibilities including technology development and product management.

Ruby is a Master Inventor in GlobalFoundries, boasting an impressive track record with more than 20 patents granted and over 70 peer-reviewed papers published. She earned her Ph.D. in Microelectronic Engineering from the National University of Ireland, Cork, and an EMBA from ESCP Business School.

Ruby is passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion and advocating for female leadership in the tech industry. As a board member of SWE (Society of Women Engineers) in Dresden and a company representative to the German Diversity Charter Association (Charta der Vielfalt), she works to support and inspire underrepresented groups in STEM fields.
