Semiconductor Integrated Display Technology Co. LTD (Sidtek), has recently constructed and launched a brand new, state-of-the-art micro OLED factory for 12” fab processing. This factory is located in Wuhu City, Anhui Province, China. This first phase of factory ramp-up will allow for 6000 wafers per month (tandem OLED). Subsequent capacity upgrades will allow for double and triple of this capacity as Sidtek gears up for explosive growth in the AR/VR/MR spaces.

Sidtek’s investment commitment in the 12” fab exceeds US$826M and will expand on our existing 8” fab which has been in operation since 2020. Sidtek is able to design and manufacture the full micro OLED product from IC design to modulization and has multiple foundry options for wafer sourcing. Sidtek has deep technical roots with over 400 patent applications related to micro OLED.

Global demand for micro OLED screens will rise to 21 million pieces by 2028 as new generation products come to the market starting in 2026.

Bruce Elliott is the General Manager of N. America for Semiconductor Integrated Technology (‘Sidtek’) Co. LTD. Sidtek is located in Wuhu City China and specializes in micro OLED design and manufacturing. Sidtek is quickly expanding micro OLED design and production capacity to address the rapidly growing demand of AR/VR/MR products. Bruce has more than three decades of experience in the display industry starting with design engineering roles and progressing to sales and leadership roles. He is very experienced with AM-TFT, AM-OLED and silicon backplane OLED (micro OLED) technologies and has a long and proven track record of applying new technologies on a global scale.
