Abstract:

VIA optronics is a provider of interactive display system solutions that include displays enhanced for high brightness and low reflection, optical bonding using its proprietary MaxVU™ process and material, projected capacitive touch/display modules based on VTS™ copper metal mesh touch sensors, and recently acquired automotive camera module development capability. Customized solutions available for automotive, industrial and consumer electronics applications include features such as hover, gesture and proximity detection, finger sliding, and haptic/force feedback. Automotive camera modules include in-cabin designs for occupant monitoring and front sensing applications as well as exterior designs for driver assistance and surround view. Mr. Gaines will discuss key Automotive HMI trends and technologies from VIA’s perspective.
